About the Wii & WiiFit

Nintendo WiiThe Nintendo Wii is a home video game console that makes use of motion sensor technology and so is uniquely suited for workout “games.” Nintendo created the Wii in part to reach a new audience not targeted by other game consoles … namely the markets over the age of 30.

WiiFit Plus with Balance BoardThe WiiFit with balance board is an is an exercise game that guides you through a variety of yoga, strength training, aerobic and balance exercises. It also helps you monitor your progress through weight, body mass index (BMI) and an algorithm that determines your “WiiFit Age.”

WiiFit has been used for physiotherapy rehabilitation and has been adopted by various health clubs around the world. I’m totally in love with my WiiFit and look forward to how I’m doing each day.

Is it the WiiFit that’s causing the weightloss?

No. I started using the WiiFit on May 23, 2008. At that time, I weighed in at 213.2lbs. When I started the I Create My Body program in February of 2010, I weighed 252lbs. That said, will using the WiiFit help? Sure, any exercise is better than none. But I’m a firm believer that it is the mindset work I’m doing with the I Create My Body program that is doing the real trick.
